Tioconazole Dosage and Rules
Tioconazole is used by applying it to the area that is infected with the fungus. The following is the dosage of tioconazole based on the patient's condition:
- Condition:Nail fungal infection
Adults and children: apply to nails every 12 hours. The drug is used for 6-12 months.
- Condition: Panu (tinea versicolor)
Adults: Apply the drug 1-2 times a day. The drug is used for 7 days.
- Condition: Water fleas (tinea pedis)
Adults: Apply the drug 1-2 times a day. Medication used for 6 weeks
- Condition: Ringworm (tinea corporis) or candidiasis (candidiasis)
Adults: Apply the drug 1-2 times a day. Medication is used for 2–4 weeks
- Condition:Vaginal candidiasis
Adults: Apply tioconazole to the vagina with the tool provided on the medicine package. Generally, this drug is used for 7 days.

Follow the doctor's advice and always read the instructions for use listed on the tioconazole package before using it.
Wash hands before and after using tioconazole. Do not let the medication get in the eyes and do not cover the treated area with an airtight seal.
Apply tioconazole in the form of a cream to the problem area and slightly around the area. Then, gently massage the area until the medicine is absorbed.
Use the drug according to the duration of use recommended by the doctor even though the symptoms are getting better. This is done to prevent the recurrence of the condition experienced.
If you forget to use tioconazole, take the drug immediately if the interval with the next dose is not too close. If the time for the next dose is near, ignore it and do not double the dose.
